OLYMPIA, Wash.–The Volunteer Leadership Institute-Hawaii 2021 is going virtual. The popular meeting had been scheduled for Maui in January.
“Due to the continuing restrictions of COVID-19, it will be impossible to hold an in-person Institute in Hawaii,” reported Rochdale Paragon, which hosts the meeting. “However, we believe strongly in the value of the curriculum and importance of ongoing education offered through VLI Hawaii and will therefore offer VLI-Hawaii 2021 in a virtual format.”
Rochdale Paragon said the virtual event will include many of the same sessions in the virtual environment. It will also host a sneak preview of VLI Hawaii-Virtual with a session by Geoff Bacino, partner with Bacino & Associates and former NCUA board member, who will provide a post-election synopsis titled, “After the Election: What the Results Mean for Credit Unions.”
More information regarding VLI Hawaii-Virtual, including dates, topics and registration details will be available shortly on the organization’s website at www.VLIHawaii.com.
