ENDICOTT, N.Y.–Visions FCU here has hired ESPN basketball analyst and former Duke and Chicago Bulls basketball player Jay Williams as its new spokesperson.
Williams will also appear at select events across the credit union's New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey footprint.
According to local media, Williams met Visions CEO Ty Muse at a celebrity basketball camp several years ago, and the two men share a desire to promote financial literacy.
Williams made his first appearance at a ribbon-cutting and celebration of the newly renovated VFCU branch on McKinley Ave., where Williams signed autographs and posed for photos with employees and credit union members.
