SAN FRANCISCO—The fintech Brightwell said it has entered into a partnership with Visa in order to enable payouts to bank accounts and wallets through the use of Visa Direct.
Visa Direct’s reach will be extended to more clients across the globe,” aiming to optimize overall quick and secure access via accounts and wallets as endpoints,” according to The Paypers.
The report states Atlanta-based Brightwell was developed in order to “design and provide customers, businesses, enterprises, and individuals with the possibility to send money securely across the globe.”
“The collaboration with the multinational payment card services corporation makes Brightwell a Visa-enabled platform provider in the region of North America, in order to provide all cross-border payment modalities enabled through the use of the company’s digital payment network, Visa Direct,” the companies said in a statement. “At the same time, the deal will also focus on optimizing and accelerating the digitalization and transformation of global money movement.”
