FOSTER CITY, Calif.—Visa has created a division that will work with cryptocurrencies, a new report indicates.
The Cryptocurrency Post reported the move is evident by a job vacancy posted by Visa on the service smartrecruiters.com.
Visa offers potential candidates to try out as a technical product manager within the framework of the VISA Crypto Team, The Cryptocurrency Post stated.
“As the Visa crypto team product manager, the employee will be responsible for implementing the Visa strategy in the cryptocurrency ecosystem,” according to the post on smartrecruiters.com, the report stated.
The candidate requirements include deep knowledge of distributed registries with limited access, connections with experts in the cryptocurrency and fintech space, and an understanding of how digital assets can change existing payment systems, The Cryptocurrency Post stated.
