RICHMOND, Va.–The Virginia Credit Union League said it will host its EMERGE Conference for Emerging Professionals from June 26-27 at the Richmond Marriott in Richmond, Va.
The league said the event is designed to develop future leaders in credit unions.
“The EMERGE Conference kicks off a six-month certification program tailored for emerging professionals, offering essential education, leadership tips, and networking opportunities,” the league said. “The certification program offers participants a firm foundation in leadership and communication skills, while also helping them better understand their roles and how best to contribute to the success of their credit union.”

According to the VCUL, highlights from the event will include:
- Two days of learning, networking, and fun.
- Sessions on industry insights, leadership, and management skills
- Discounted stay at the Richmond Marriott for attendees.
Certifications
The league said completion of the conference and subsequent modules earns participants an EMERGE Leadership Certification. The program is priced at $750, covering the conference and all additional modules, with a la carte options available.
