SOPOT, Poland– The Via Stella Foundation, the joint initiative between credit unions in the United States and Poland to raise funds and provide assistance to Ukrainian refugees and Ukraine’s credit unions, has made another donation.
In this case it has handed over the keys to a truck to be used in the town of Nikopol in Central Ukraine along the Dnipro river.
According to the foundation, the truck will be “very useful” to residents of the region.
The truck is just the latest vehicle to be donated to Ukraine by the foundation, which has also funded the purchase of numerous ambulances. As CUToday.info has reported extensively. The Via Stella Foundation has also provided support to a women’s clinic, an orphanage, credit unions in Ukraine, and more.
