ARLINGTON, Va.–Veteran credit union communications executive Pat Keefe has been named director of communications by the National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors (NASCUS).
Keefe, who has more than 30 years’ experience in working for credit unions, was most recently senior vice president of communications with CUNA. Prior to that, Keefe was vice president of communications with NAFCU.
“We’re excited to have someone with Pat’s experience and expertise join our team,” said Lucy Ito, president and CEO of NASCUS. “Our overall communications goal is to raise the visibility of our issues and our association in the interests of our members – and credit union members nationwide –
as well as to promote the safety and soundness of and innovation in the state credit union system. This addition to our staff, we believe, will play an essential role in achieving that goal.”
