BURLINGTON, Vt.–Bernie Isabelle has announced his retirement from Vermont Federal Credit Union here, with an interim CEO named to fill the position.
Isabelle had served as CEO of the $469-million Vermont Federal since 2008.
“(The board and supervisory committee) are an awesome group of individuals and I consider it an honor to have worked with all of them in growing the credit union and fulfilling our mission to our members,” said Isabelle in a statement. He said he plans to spend more time with his family and friends, on his hobbies and in volunteering.
Vermont Federal has named Jean Giard to serve as Interim CEO.
