MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. – A western Kentucky credit union experienced an unexpected jolt Tuesday afternoon when a vehicle crashed into its building.
According to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred just after 2 p.m. on July 1, when a vehicle drove into Signet Federal Credit Union on Lone Oak Road, KFVS reported.
Deputies said Linda Hayden of Paducah lost control of her car while pulling into a parking spot in front of the credit union. The vehicle jumped the curb and smashed through the building’s exterior wall.
No one inside the building — including Hayden — was injured, KFVS said.
