QUINCY, Wis. – United Community Credit Union has paid its members more than $125,000 in interest rebates and bonus dividends in the form of deposits to their savings.
UCCU said the Loyalty Bonus was issued to those who paid interest on personal, vehicle, and home loans, or who earned dividends during 2023.
"As a not-for-profit cooperative, we are always looking for ways to return value to our members. We do this by offering better-than-market rates and lower fees,” said CEO Sarah Distin. “This year, we had the opportunity to pay a cash bonus to our borrowers and savers, which put money directly back into our members' pockets. We also offered our savers two high yield CD specials that were very competitive in the marketplace. These are just a few of the many financial benefits of being a member of UCCU and our way of expressing gratitude to our members for their loyalty and continued support.”
Distin added the credit union is also preparing to open a new branch at the convenient location of 36th and Columbus Road in Quincy."
