Unison Credit Union Buys Naming Rights To Youth Baseball Complex

KAUKAUNA, Wis.–Unison Credit Union here said it will pay $375,000 to Kaukauna Youth Baseball for the naming rights to the organization's new baseball complex in Harrison, Wis.

Credit union officials presented a check to KYB officials during a ceremony at Riverside Park as part of the Little League District 2 tournament. Unison CEO Mark Hietpas threw out the ceremonial first pitch.

According to local media, the nonprofit KYB plans to build a $3-million, four-diamond baseball complex on vacant land at the southeast corner of State 55 and Calumet County KK.

The privately funded development will encompass 18 acres and feature three diamonds for Little League and one larger diamond for American Legion Baseball. The diamonds will have artificial turf infields and grass outfields. 

The facility also will include a concession stand, restrooms, batting cages, a pavilion, a playground and 220 parking stalls.

Kaukauna Youth Baseball serves more than 700 players ages five to 18. The new complex will allow the organization to hold larger weekend tournaments for traveling teams.

Unison Credit Union serves more than 17,000 members.
