WEST ALLIS, Wis. – To celebrate 100 years of Cream Puffs, the Wisconsin State Fair has entered into a partnership with UW Credit Union.
UW Credit Union will be the title sponsor of the Cream Puff Lovin' Celebration on Saturday, Aug. 10. The event will feature entertainment and a special visit from the Original Cream Puffs' mascot, Cravin' D. Cream Puff, according to the organization.
UW Credit Union said it will unveil a series of other state fair-themed surprises leading up to the celebration. The first 100 fairgoers in line at the Original Cream Puff Pavilion will get a free cream puff each morning of the Wisconsin State Fair, which runs Aug. 1-11.
Synonymous With Summer
“The Wisconsin State Fair is synonymous with Milwaukee summers, it’s something everyone can enjoy,” UW Credit Union Chief Marketing Officer Anne Norman said in a statement. “This milestone year is the perfect start to this partnership and a great opportunity to bring the quintessential Fair food to the forefront. We look forward to extending Fair perks through our growing branch network and spreading the Cream Puff love.”
