TORRANCE, Calif.–UNIFY Financial Credit Union has signed a deal with the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams to become the official credit union of the team.
Terms of the multi-year partnership were not released. As the official credit union, UNIFY said it will be joining the select roster of companies comprising the Rams’ Homecoming Partners.
UNIFY said Rams’ players and employees will be eligible for membership as the team is now a select employer group. The partnership also provides UNIFY with prominent in-season signage at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, co-branded digital content and promotions, integration into Rams media content, and a variety of year-round joint member, community and marketing programs, according to UNIFY.
“UNIFY proudly serves a large number of members in Los Angeles, and we are excited to welcome the Rams back to LA and into the UNIFY the family,” said UNIFY CEO Gordon Howe. “This partnership represents a true alignment of the vision and values of both our brands. The excitement behind the Rams homecoming has been tremendous, and we see this partnership as providing value-added gain to our members, everyone in the Rams organization, and the communities we serve.”
According to UNIFY, the benefits of the partnership will be brought directly to its members who are Rams fans through a variety of special programs and promotions. Plans include Rams ticket and merchandise giveaways and events with Rams players, cheerleaders and mascots at UNIFY’s retail branch locations in the Los Angeles area.
The credit union said the partnership also provides UNIFY with multiple opportunities to engage the Rams fan base year-round, including branded activity space at Rams Training Camp at the University of California, Irvine and other preseason activities, co-branded member promotions, digital platform exposure, participation in special Rams fan events, broadcast and print advertising, and other joint marketing activities.
UNIFY said it will also partner with the Rams on a “Staff Day of Service.”
