UNIFY Financial Rolling Out New Branding In 3 Markets Nationally

TORRANCE, Calif.–UNIFY Financial Credit Union, formerly known as Western FCU, has announced the next step in its strategic expansion and rebranding plan with full-service branches opening in Las Vegas, Mesa, Ariz., and Lexington, Ky.

The credit union said the expansion will introduce to members a new retail concept under the UNIFY brand, “reshaping the way members connect” with their credit union.

“Opening new retail locations in Arizona, Kentucky and Nevada is another milestone in our vision to provide a national network that delivers local, community-based credit union services to our members, anytime, anywhere,” UNIFY CEO Gordon Howe said in a statement. “We currently operate UNIFY regional offices in Mesa and Las Vegas, so expanding our community presence with retail branches in these locations was a natural decision. These new markets also provide an opportunity to extend our brand evolution by transforming our branch environments to provide members an efficient, engaging and rewarding experience.”

According to the credit union, the UNIFY retail locations offer a distinctly different, consultative experience. Members are greeted by a branch “concierge” to offer an introduction to their visit. Branches are designed in an open, dynamic environment featuring lounge, hospitality and private meeting areas throughout the space. In addition, digital technology will be integrated into the branches, including video messaging and interactive kiosks equipped with touch screens to display, print, and/or email product and service information.

Underscoring its neighborhood banking approach, UNIFY said each of the new branches will be customized to the local community and feature a “Community Wall” showcasing both unique and familiar aspects of each area.

“We recognize that our members want to connect to UNIFY and their finances in their own way, and our goal is to provide the best experience possible through every channel – whether in person, mobile or online,” said Howe. “Our new branch concept is an important extension of this philosophy, combining technology and service innovations in a unique retail environment to offer a personal, interactive experience for each member.”
