PANAMA CITY, Fla. –Tyndall FCU has torn down a building here that was damaged by last year’s hurricane.
Citing “severe hurricane damage,” Tyndall has demolished a facility on 23rd Avenue that was hit by 2018’s Hurricane Andrew.
A new building will be built with a new design that will be “easier for members to navigate,” according to MyPanhandle.com.
Branch Manager Larry Bailey says they will involve their members every step of the way.
"We've been here for 40 years, we plan on being here for more and many more years to come,” Bailey told MyPandle.com. “We're really excited about the new design as it comes out, well make sure we get it out to our members as well.”
The credit union will operate and offer full services from a temporary facility while the new building is being built.
