WHITE OAK, Penn.–Two credit union’s here have applied to the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities to merge.
The tiny, $500,000 Sacred Heart of Corpus Christi FCU has applied to merge into the $17-million Alcose FCU.
Established in 1950, Alcose stands for Allegheny County School Employees, but as a result of numerous mergers its actual FOM is far broader. The credit unions said no jobs will be eliminated as a result of the merger.
