BETHPAGE, N.Y.—Bethpage FCU has acquired Northwell Health FCU, based in Jericho, N.Y.
The $100-million Northwell FCU has two offices and 17,000 members, serving the employees working in the Northwell healthcare system.
“Their hospitals and where their employees live overlay with our system very nicely,” Linda Armyn, senior vice president of corporate affairs at Bethpage, told Newsday. “We will provide financial education for their employees, and they will offer wellness education for our employees and members.”
The $7.5-billion Bethpage offers a broader array of products to Northwell employees, NHFCU said.
Northwell Health has 62,000 employees and operates 22 hospitals and more than 550 outpatient facilities in the state, Newsday said.
