KEENE, N.H.–Two New Hampshire CUs have announced a merger.
The $4.5-million Cheshire Health FCU said its members have overwhelmingly approved a merger into the $3 billion-Service Credit Union in Portsmouth.
The CHFCU office in the Cheshire Health Medical Center (CHMC) office will remain open and its employees will continue to serve its membership.
"We are extremely pleased that the Cheshire Health Federal Credit Union membership voted to merge into Service Credit Union," said David Van Rossum, Service CU's president/CEO. "We look forward to providing its members with the exceptional member service and community support that they experienced with CHMC."
