CARSON CITY, Nev.–Members of Frontier Financial Credit Union have voted in favor of merging into the $730-million Greater Nevada Credit Union.
The two branches of Frontier Financial are now operating as branches of GNCU, and the majority of Frontier's staff joined Greater Nevada, according to the credit unions.
"We are honored that membership of Frontier Financial Credit Union entrusted us by approving the merger," said President-CEO Wally Murray in a statement. "The members who have now become part of Greater Nevada will continue to enjoy exceptional personalized service, while having access to even more products, services and conveniences to help them live greater."
The combined membership of the credit union is more than 63,000.
