Two More New CEOs Take Over At Credit Unions

SAN JOSE, Calif.–Two credit unions have named new CEOs.

The $730-million Santa Clara County FCU has named Rebecca Reynolds Lytle to lead the organization.

Lytle has more than 35 years of financial services experience during which she has “earned a reputation for building high performance teams providing exceptional member experiences,” the credit union said. She was most recently chief lending officer and SVP with San Francisco Credit Union and has 24 years’ experience in credit unions.

“She hit the right points for the board with her leadership style and extensive experience and knowledge of the local market”, said Peter Ng, chairman of County Federal.

“I’m drawn to County Federal’s strong focus on its members and its solid prospects for growth,” said Lytle.

Meanwhile, in Tallahassee, Fla., the $29.6-million Florida Rural Electric Credit Union has named Paula Tuten as its new CEO.  Tuten has served for the past five years as the credit union’s compliance officer and vice president. FRECU said Tuten has been “instrumental in the growth of the credit union’s membership, as well as the products and services offered.”

Tuten is a 2015 Graduate of the CUNA’s Southeastern Regional Credit Union Management School at the University of Georgia and has approximately 25 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Tuten replaces President/CEO Kenn Rice, who is retiring after more than 18 years of service.
