SPRINGFIELD, Mo.–Two Missouri credit unions have announced merger plans. Members of District 8 Highway Employees Credit Union have voted in favor of merging into Metro Credit Union.
Both credit unions are based here.
District 8—one of three credit unions with a similar name in the U.S.—has $17.5 million in assets and approximately 2,100 members. The $60-million Metro Credit Union has approximately 6,300 members.
