BOSTON–Two new people have been named to lead credit unions in Massachusetts.
In Boston, the $122.8-million First Priority Credit Union has named Steve Borgerson to lead the organization.
Borgerson previously served as president of East West Mortgage, and as VP-residential lending manager at Mechanics Cooperative Bank, as VP and lending officer with MeetingHouse Bank, and as VP with Rockland Trust Co.
The credit union has approximately 5,900 members.
Athol CU Names CEO
In addition, in Athol, Mass., Luis Cisneros has been named president and CEO of the $85.4-million Athol Credit Union. Cisneros, who has been with the credit union since 2016, had previously served as VP-lending, and prior to that as lending manager and as a loan officer and business development specialist.
Before joining the credit union Cisneros had served as a start-up consultant and as COO with The Home Décor Direct Co. He is a graduate of Queen Mary University of London, and holds a Masters from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
The credit union has approximately 6,700 members.
