DENVER, Colo.–Two Colorado credit unions have announced plans to merge.
Members of the $9.8-million West Denver Community Credit Union have voted in favor of merging into the $315-million Denver Community Credit Union.
"This merger will allow our members to receive expanded services and opportunities to better enhance their financial lives through the many educational offerings they will now have access to," said Pat Price, manager of West Denver Community Credit Union.
"We welcome the 1,668 members of West Denver Community Credit Union," said Tessa Bonfante, COO of Denver Community Credit Union, in a statement. "We look forward to providing additional services to them, and to help grow membership for others who will benefit from credit union membership."
Prior to the merger, DCCU had 25,000 members.
