LIBERTY LAKE, Wash.–CU*NorthWest announced that Spokane Media Federal Credit Union and Spokane Firefighters Credit Union have extended their core processing contracts with the CUSO.
Both credit unions are founding members of CU*Northwest.
“As an original owner, Spokane Media FCU recognized that as a cooperative financial services provider it makes sense that we would want our data processor to be a true cooperative,” said Spokane Media FCU President and CEO Debie Keesee. “That cooperative foundation has enabled us to deliver products and services to our members that we would not have been able to offer in a non-cooperative environment. We are excited to be extending our relationship for an additional five-year term.”
Spokane Firefighters CU CEO Todd Powell added, “Although our credit union was a founding member of the CU*NorthWest CUSO, we still take the time to evaluate alternatives when contracts expire. Once again we have signed a five-year agreement with CU*NorthWest as they are clearly the best option for our credit union and members. CU*NorthWest has continued to grow and our list of services offered as a result of our affiliation has also grown over time. They are the clear and obvious choice for our organization.”
