Two CUNA Councils Hit Record Numbers

MADISON, Wis.—The CUNA CFO Council and Operations Sales & Service Council have reached new membership milestones: the CFO Council with more than 1,400 members and the Operation Sales & Service Council with more than 1,000.

“These milestones were reached as a result of several years of growth and a collective commitment to striving for excellence in the credit union industry,” the Councils stated in a release.

“The CFO Council’s continued growth signifies the importance of a professional membership organization devoted to its value proposition of providing a national network for finance leaders where they can reach out to one another, grow professionally, and obtain education and resources that are specific to their role at the credit union,” said Bryanna Tapley, chair of the CFO Council executive committee and VP-operations with Flint Area School ECU in Flint, Mich.

“The growth of the Operations Sales and Service Council reflects the tremendous efforts of our Membership Committee led by Judy Kinney (SVP-branch delivery/operations with LGE Community CU, Marietta, Ga.) as well as the focus of our entire executive committee to deepen our member engagement,” said Greg Inman, chair of the Operations Sales & Service Council executive committee and chief operations officer at Neighbors Federal Credit Union in Baton Rouge, La. “It’s an honor to be a part of such a passionate group of credit union leaders whose desire is to serve others while strengthening our industry.”
