Two CU Branch Renovation Projects Being Overseen by Keeley Construction

ST. LOUIS—Keeley Construction reported it is overseeing two new branch renovation projects—one with Jackson Area FCU and the other with WEOKIE FCU.

In Clinton, Miss., Keeley is partnering with JAFCU to turn a vacant bank branch into a “state-of-the-art facility.”

“The entire exterior façade of the building will get a facelift, modernizing and bringing the building into the 21st century,” Keeley Construction said. “The parking lot will be repaired and repaved, making it safe for credit union team members and branch visitors. Inside the facility, new LED lighting will be installed, a new teller line will be created and all restrooms and the break room will be completely reconstructed to ensure ADA compliance. New finishes will be installed throughout to align with Jackson Area’s strong brand and to tell their story.”

Keeley said it construction team will partner with numerous local trade subcontractors to perform the majority of work on the project.

“We are excited to partner with Jackson Area Federal Credit Union to increase their presence in the Clinton market and add to their growth in the dynamic community,” said Tom Mooney, business unit leader, financial facilities, at Keeley Construction.

OK Project

Separately, in Oklahoma City, Okla., Keeley is embarking on its fifth project with WEOKIE FCU.

“Parts of WEOKIE’s existing building had become unusable due to slab settling, so Keeley will be removing that area of the facility and reconstructing a new exterior wall,” the company said. “Substantial renovations will also be made to upgrade the remaining space to align with WEOKIE’s current branch and branding standards. Renovations include relocating and updating the IT room, restrooms, and the break room from the deteriorated area of the building to the new space. A new teller line, greeter station, and waiting area are envisioned so WEOKIE team members can easily serve their members.”

The renovations will increase the efficiency of the building, Keeley added.

“We are incredibly proud to be partnering with WEOKIE on another project, strengthening their presence in the Oklahoma City area. The cultural fit between Keeley and WEOKIE could not be stronger and we are excited to continue to exceed their expectations,” said Mooney.
