TruStar FCU Paying Bonus Dividend To Members

INTERNATIONAL FALLS, Minn.–TruStar Federal Credit Union here said it is paying a $550,000 patronage dividend to its members.

“We’re very proud that it’s been another strong and steady year here at TruStar,” said Dale Johnson, president/CEO, in a statement. “Our members are loyal and it’s truly an honor to show our appreciation by giving back to them. We’re here to help people and to support the communities that we serve and we are grateful for that opportunity.”

TruStar reported that over the past five years it has returned more than $2 million to its members in the bonus dividends. The amount of the dividend paid each member is based on the level of his/her involvement within the credit union.

“We are very excited to be able to illustrate to our members the true difference between credit unions and banks by returning the credit union’s profits back to our members,” said Johnson.

TruStar FCU has nearly 15,000 members.
