CINCINNATI–TruPartner Credit Union has named a new president and CEO. The $180-million credit union has selected Nina Myers to lead the organization.
Myers began her credit union career nearly 20 years ago as a member service representative and has worked her way up through a variety of leadership roles, most recently serving as senior vice president at Fitzsimons Federal Credit Union in Aurora, Colo.
The 17,000-member TruPartner Credit Union is the result of a 2015 merger of Communicating Arts Credit Union and Cincinnati Central Credit Union and is well-known for its rich history. The two credit unions were led by Catherine Herring and Bill Herring, respectively, the daughter and son of credit union pioneer Louise McKerren Herring. Both credit unions had been co-founded by Herring.
‘Great Potential’
“I am excited to continue the legacy and leadership of the Louise Herring family and put the credit union cooperative principles into action at TruPartner,” said Myers. “The credit union has already poised itself as a leader in providing financial services in the Cincinnati area, and I plan to expand upon that even further. TruPartner has great potential to be even more, and I look forward to collaborating with the board and staff to make it the best place to belong.”
Myers is in her third and final year at Western CUNA Management School and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She is an active community volunteer and has served in AmeriCorps.
