FORT WASHINGTON, Penn.–TruMark Financial Credit Union President and CEO Rick Stipa has announced plans to retire.
Stipa has worked in credit unions for 28 years, joining TruMark Financial in 2001 as the CEO. While leading the organization, Stipa has overseen growth to nearly $2.8-billion in assets from $670 million, and to more than130,000 members.
Stipa has served as a financial institution president/CEO since 1992, after having earlier graduated from Ursinus College with a bachelor’s degree in business and economics and an MBA from Drexel University.
“I have had an immensely gratifying and fulfilling career and have spent 21 memorable years with TruMark Financial Credit Union,” said Stipa in a statement published by D. Hilton Associates, which is handling the search. “It has been a privilege to lead this organization, I am grateful for the support shown to me by the board, managers, staff, and community during my time as CEO. I have great confidence that TruMark Financial Credit Union will continue to serve the needs of its members, staying true to the credit union’s vision and founding principles.”
TruMark Financial Credit Union was chartered in 1939 by a few Bell Telephone Company of Pennsylvania employees.
