MIRAMAR, Fla. – Tropical Financial Credit Union was featured this morning on national television.
On Lifetime’s home improvement show, Designing Spaces, the credit union was featured as part of a segment on the value of using local lenders to finance a home purchase.
The segment featured Chad and Elizabeth Virtanen, a recently married couple from Hollywood, Fla., who bought their first house with a mortgage from Tropical Financial. Producers also interviewed Helen McGiffin, senior vice president and chief lending officer, and Amy McGraw, vice president of marketing, to talk about the advantages of using a local lender.
Tropical Financial said it was recommended for the segment by the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta.
