MINOT, N.D.– Town & Country Credit Union here has named a new president and CEO. The credit union said it has selected Brad Houle to lead the $642-million organization.
Houle has nearly 25 years of experience in credit unions, including extensive experience in staff and resource management. He previously served as the president & CEO at CAHP Credit Union in Sacramento, Calif., where he “elevated sales and service, developed his team, built community relationships, improved financial performance and loan growth, and discovered new revenue streams. Under his leadership, CAHP developed a highly effective commercial real estate lending program and in-house wealth management services,” the credit union said.
Houle also developed a state-certified financial education program, according to Town & Country CU.
Other CEO Roles
Prior to his role at CAHP, Houle served as the president and CEO at Forward Financial Credit Union in Niagara, Wis. and at Munising Community Credit Union in Munising, Mich.
“It is my absolute honor to become the next president/CEO of Town & Country Credit Union and join in their long tradition of serving North Dakota for the last 83 years,” said Houle. “I look forward to continuing to improve upon their exceptional member service and reinforce the vital role Town & Country plays in the communities they serve for years to come I also want to thank the Board of Directors for their faith in my leadership and their commitment to the credit union.”
Educational Background
Houle holds a Bachelor’s in International Studies from St. Norbert College, Green Bay, Wis. He also earned his Certified Chief Executive designation from the CUES CEO Institute.
Houle currently serves on the board of Corporate America Credit Union and serves as treasurer of BALANCE, Consumer Credit Counseling Services of San Francisco (CCCSSF).
