Tom Emmer Addresses Financial Services Priorities In The House, CU Advocacy And More During DCUC Town Hall

WASHINGTON— The Defense Credit Union Council held a town hall discussion with U.S. House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN) Monday, which offered DCUC members and Defense Matters 2025 attendees an opportunity to hear directly from a key leader on issues impacting credit unions and the broader financial services industry.

The virtual discussion covered critical topics, including Emmer’s insights on digital asset regulation, financial services priorities in the House, bipartisan legislative efforts, and how credit unions can effectively advocate in Washington.
