GLENDALE, Ariz.–Arizona Federal Credit Union hosted its third Taste the Good Life happy hour at its newly remodeled branch here for two hours in the evening. During the happy hour event, the credit union offered the public a chance to learn more about their credit, while enjoying live music and gourmet appetizers. More than 100 people attended, and 48 guests engaged in a credit consultation with a financial coach to discuss their credit report and identify opportunities to improve their financial lives, Arizona Federal reported.
“A credit report can have a profound impact on what you pay for services, such as loans or insurance, and whether or not you are offered a job,” said Rachel Galvez, AFCU business development manager, in a statement. “Yet many of us don’t know anything about them: where to look at your report, what the score means and how it’s calculated.”
Galvez said Arizona Federal is planning its next event for October.
