LOWELL, Mass.–In a unique way to promote its home mortgage offerings, Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union sponsored a housewarming party at the home of new mortgage members Derek Knapp and Michelle Lipfert.
Approximately 70 friends, family members and co-workers gathered at the engaged couple’s new home in Deerfield, N.H., to help them break in their new home, the credit union said.
“Derek and Michelle’s family and friends were very happy to share the experience of buying their first home,” said Jason Dubois, Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union’s mortgage loan origination manager.
Dubois helped the couple through the home buying process and helped them secure their financing with Jeanne D’Arc.
“We were shocked when Jason told us that the credit union was going to sponsor our party. It was so incredibly generous and we are so thankful to have chosen such a great credit union to work with,” said Knapp.
“A home purchase is such a huge milestone in the lives of our members, and we are always committed to helping them each and every step of the way,” said Mark S. Cochran, president and chief executive officer of Jeanne D’Arc. “Hosting these housewarming parties allows us to celebrate with them, and also thank them for letting us be a part of their home buying journey.”
