DES MOINES, Iowa—The holidays are just around the corner, and so is a busy time of year for cyber-crooks.
The Members Group suggests that to prepare for both, credit unions:
- Update cardholder contact info.
- Establish a stop-date for lifted restrictions.
- Know your fraud trends.
- Use laser-targeted detection tools.
- Employ geo-targeted detection software.
- Educate cardholders.
That’s just a small piece of the valuable advice provided in a four-part white paper series on fraud TMG has released. Topics include biometrics, holiday fraud, card-not-present fraud and methods for empowering consumers to help fight card fraud.
