Thrive Payments In Alliance With Western Museums Association

WAKEFIELD, Mass.―Thrive Payments and the Western Museums Association (WMA) today announced an alliance designed to improve payment acceptance services for WMA members.

As a result of this partnership, every WMA member will have the opportunity to improve upon their existing merchant services program, decrease cost, and increase data security, the company said. In addition, every WMA member processing through Thrive Payments increases the company’s financial support of WMA’s mission and work to further the museum field.

“This alliance will help WMA members reduce cost, implement new technologies and strengthen their data security programs,” said Ted Keith, Jr., CEO of Thrive Payments. “Our suite of products includes mobile and tablet-based systems as well as the ability to integrate secure, cloud-based POS system integration for larger museums…Analyzing payment acceptance choices can be a difficult exercise, including understanding complicated pricing, technical PCI-DSS data security requirements and new technologies, such as EMV-chip, acceptance and digital enablement services such as Apple Pay. Our objective is to help WMA members optimize their service, saving them money and improving the guest experience.”

Keith added that Thrive Payments offers a broad array of payment products and services, including NCR Silver tablet-based POS systems, AprivaPay Plus mobile acceptance, Verifone point-of-sale hardware systems, five different processing platforms, Apriva secure gateway services and concierge data security services from Payload Networks, LLC.
