AUSTIN, Texas—Three people have been appointed to the Texas Credit Union Commission by Gov. Greg Abbot.
Named to the commission,which regulates all credit unions organized and chartered under the laws of the state of Texas, for terms to run through Feb. 15, 2027 were:
- John D. "David" Bleazard of Katy, Texas. Bleazard is president and CEO of First Service Credit Union, chairman of ECU Technology and the chairman of the You First Foundation.
- Julia "Beckie" Stockstill Cobb of Deer Park, Texas. Stockstill Cobb is the owner and the Licensed Health and Life Insurance Agent of Stockstill & Associates.
- Yusuf E. Farran of El Paso, Texas. Farran is an energy solutions engineer at Johnson Controls, Inc.
