GRAND BLANC, Mich.– The $1.4 billion Dort Financial Credit Union has named a new president and CEO.
The $1.4-billion Dort Financial has selected Brian Waldron to lead the organization. Waldron most recently served as VP-lending and chief lending officer with the $6.4-billion Hudson Valley FCU in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
Waldron will replace Vicki Hawkins, who is scheduled to retire in April.
“I have always believed in the mission of credit unions and the idea of people helping people and making a difference in the lives of their members,” said Waldron in a released statement. “I am excited to begin working with the staff at Dort Financial in making a difference in the lives of its current and future members.”
New CEO at FMCU
Meanwhile, in Anniston, Ala., the $237-million Fort McClellan Credit Union has named Angela Smith as its next president/CEO. Smith succeeds Jon Mills in the position.
Smith had previously served as COO with FMCU, and had earlier also served as SVP-operations and executive administrative assistant. Prior to that Smith had been a branch manager with both AlaTrust Credit Union and Avadian Credit Union, both in Alabama.
New Leadership in Keystone State
In Pennsylvania, Blue Chip FCU has named Matthew White as its new president/CEO. White succeeds Angelina Connaghan in leading the $45-million Blue Chip.
White had previously served as VP-risk management with Susquehanna Valley FCU in Pennsylvania.
