In the category of NEXT Seed Capital Award for Savings Innovation, which provides a $100,000 grant to one CDFI to support the development of a compelling consumer financial services strategy focused on savings, Alternatives Federal Credit Union, Ithaca, N.Y., and Express Credit Union, Seattle, are among the finalists.
The Wells Fargo NEXT Awards for Opportunity Finance have awarded more than $66 million through a competitive awards process over the last eight years.
