SPOKANE, Wash.–Another would-be thief has attempted to steal an ATM by smashing it.
According to police here, the crook drove a front loader into a drive-through ATM at a branch of Washington State Employees Credit Union. While the man did significant damage to the machine, he left without getting any money, police said.
The stolen front loader was later found abandoned on the TJ Meenach Bridge. No arrests have been made.
