The Low-Down On Loudoun: CU Names New CEO As…

LEESBURG, Va.–Loudoun Credit Union has named a new CEO. The $41-million LCU has tapped Travis Allen to lead the organization, replacing former CEO Darrin Myers, who left the position in November 2017 to be closer to family.

With more than 18 years of experience in financial services, Allen was most recently regional branch manager at East Idaho Credit Union in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

“It is an honor to join the LCU team, where we can make a profound and positive impact on the lives of not just our members but all those who live in Loudoun County,” said Allen. “I am a staunch advocate of giving back and making our corner of the world a better place. Since credit unions are member-owned, it affords us the opportunity to truly make a difference in people's lives. It is neighbor helping neighbor, a symbiotic relationship where individuals, communities and the credit union can all come together and strengthen one another.”
