‘The CDFI Landscape in 2022’ Webinar to be Hosted by CU Strategic Planning

TACOMA, Wash.–A webinar titled “The CDFI Landscape in 2022” will be hosted by CU Strategic Planning on Feb. 2 at 2 p.m. ET.

“The past two years have seen enormous change and opportunity for CDFIs,” the company said. “As a result, more credit unions are seeking CDFI certification, for good reason.”

The webinar will be hosted by CU Strategic Planning’s Chief Strategy and Advocacy Officer Mike Beall, along with John McKechnie, senior partner of Total Spectrum.

The discussion will focus on:

  • The current environment for CDFI certification
  • What the growth in CDFI numbers means for grant funding
  • The expected rollout of the Emergency Support & Minority Lending Program
  • Legislative update—what to expect in 2022 for CDFI appropriations
  • How credit unions can leverage CDFI grant funding to create lasting change in their communities for low and moderate income consumers, at a time when it’s needed most

“Whether you’re considering seeking CDFI certification, or are already certified and want to know what opportunities you should prepare for, this webinar will have information you don’t want to miss,” CU Strategic Planning added.
