BATTLE CREEK, Mich.–Two Michigan credit unions have announced merger plans.
The $19.2-mmillion Battle Creek Area Community Federal Credit Union said it will merge into Berrien Springs, Mich.-based Honor Credit Union following a vote by its 2,000 members.
“The impact that we will be able to bring to the Battle Creek community through combining resources with Honor Credit Union is exciting and something that I know BCACFCU members are looking forward to,” said BCACFCU CEO Liz Amundson said in a released statement.
The $706-mmillion Honor Credit Union has 63,608 members.
