TECH Credit Union Announces New CEO

CROWN POINT, Mich.–TECH Credit Union has named a new CEO. The $360-million CU has selected Gene Novello to lead the organization, succeeding long-term CEO Mike Hussey, who will be retiring on June 30 after 41 years.

Novello has spent more than 35 years in financial services with experience across a range of operations. He most recently served as EVP and COO with Teachers Credit Union in Indiana.

“I am excited and humbled to have been chosen to lead Tech Credit Union. The credit union is known throughout the area for the quality of its member service, attention to member needs, and high ethical standards.” said Novello. “I look forward to building on the solid foundation built by my predecessor, Mike Hussey. These are exciting times for Tech and for the credit union industry and I am grateful to be a part of it.”
