TCU In Naming Rights Deal With School District; To Also Provide Cash Management Services

SOUTH BEND, Ind.–Teachers Credit Union said it has entered into a business services partnership with Hamilton Southeastern Schools through which it has secured naming rights to two football fields and also provide cash management services to the school corporation to enhance operations and financial management.

The five-year deal, which involves the football fields at Fishers High School and Hamilton Southeastern High School, is for $1.3 million.

As CUToday.info reported earlier, TCU has also bought naming rights to the Warsaw High School gymnasium in South Bend (renamed the Tiger Den TCU Court), and struck a similar deal with the South Bend Community School Corporation. That deal was for $1.5-million over 10 years, as CUToday.info reported here.

“TCU is proud to have been selected as the financial services provider for the Hamilton Southeastern Schools District,” said TCU President and CEO Paul Marsh in a statement. “HSE has a proven record of being a forward-thinking school district. Our vision is to partner with our communities to achieve their financial success one member at a time. We are excited about our partnership with HSE and the benefits it will provide the students of the district.”

TCU said the partnership agreements were introduced at a recent school board meeting, where two primary agreements were approved, specifically the football field naming rights agreement and the cash management agreement over a three-year term with an automatic two-year renewal. The agreements are expected to go into effect within the next 30 days.

“There are so many financial institutions that offer excellent service to schools in this area,” said Superintendent Dr. Allen Bourff. “Teachers Credit Union was selected after a competitive process that demonstrated their desire to work with HSE, and we look forward to working with them.”

The $3.1-billion Teachers Credit Union has approximately 300,000 members.

Hamilton Southeastern Schools serves approximately 21,600 students across 12 elementary schools, four intermediate schools, four junior high schools and two high schools northeast of Indianapolis.
