PASADENA, Calif.–Wescom Credit Union hosted its fifth annual Christmas tree giveaway over the weekend.
As part of its #WescomKindness program, Wescom picked up the tab for tree selections, up to $100 in value per family, at 15 Christmas tree lot locations across Southern California.
Each of the pop-up lots gave away $2,000 worth of Christmas trees to unsuspecting customers, the credit union said.
“Supporting SoCal communities through acts of #WescomKindness, such as our annual Christmas tree giveaway, is one of our favorite ways to let people know that we care,” said Tamar Atamian, VP-marketing and communications for Wescom. “It’s really heartwarming for us to see people’s faces light up when they find out their tree is being paid for by Wescom.”
