GLENDALE, Ariz.—A package of the “Northwest’s best salmon” is on its way to Marlborough, Mass. as the result of last night’s Super Bowl win by the New England Patriots.
The Cooperative Credit Union Association, which represents Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island, won a wager with the Northwest Credit Union Association, which represents Oregon and Washington, when the New England Patriots defeated the Seattle Seahawks 28-24 in the game. The two associations had placed a wager prior to the contest in which the Northwest CU Association had put up the salmon against the Cooperative CU Association’s “world’s best clam chowder.”
