SUFFOLK, N.Y.–Suffolk Federal Credit Union has introduced a new redeemable points incentive, the uChoose Rewards Program.
SFCU said the program will give participating members the opportunity to earn one point for every $4 spent when making signature-based purchases using a Suffolk Federal MasterCard debit card. Business account holders will earn one point for every $5 spent.
“Through our new program, we reward our members for every dollar they are already spending. It is a perfect opportunity to maximize a member’s budget by providing an opportunity to earn exciting rewards,” explained President/CEO Ralph D. Spencer, Jr.
According to Suffolk FCU, Rewards points are redeemable for merchandise, travel, events, merchant gift cards and more. In addition, if account holders have more than one debit card on their membership, or even debit cards on multiple memberships, they can combine points and earn rewards even faster, SFCU said. Members register their debit card at www.uchooserewards.com and follow the prompts to create a user ID and password, the credit union said.
“The introduction of this innovative rewards program is a perfect way to thank our members for their continued loyalty,” Spencer said. “It is a very simple process – the uChoose programs keeps track of all member points and the site is extremely user-friendly, helping our members find what they are looking for when they are ready to redeem the rewards.
SFCU said there are thousands of items and gifts to choose from and that it also offers the ability for a member to create a “Wish List” to track points. When the member has earned enough points for that special reward, Suffolk Federal said it will notify him/her.
