MADISON, Wis.–The National Credit Union Foundation is reminding those interested in registering for 2019 Credit Union Development Education (DE) Training will need to do so soon.
The Foundation said the DE Program is its signature program and promotes the education and application of credit union business principles and philosophy. With limited seats offered at each training, the four DE programs for 2019 have been filling up quickly with credit union leaders from around the country and world. Individuals who complete the training earn a CUDE designation and join the ranks of more than 1800 DEs in the United States and more than 4,000 DEs worldwide, the Foundation said.
“There are many great trainings that focus on ‘what’ credit unions do to serve members and ‘how’ they do it. DE Training is unique in that we focus on the ‘why’,” said Chad Helminak, director of the DE Program. “Whether you’re new to credit unions or have been around the block, DE Training provides a fresh perspective on our shared mission and how we can leverage our unique business model to better meet the needs of our members and communities.”
According to the Foundation, there are still a few open spots for the 2019 DE Training dates:
- April 3 -9, 2019
- May 15-21, 2019
- September 11-17, 2019
