BIRMINGHAM, Ala./TALLAHASSEE, Fla.—The League of Southeastern Credit Unions will roll out a new website in April with help from the Northwest Credit Union Association.
Through a partnership with NWCUA, LSCU licensed the functionality and framework of the NWCUA’s award-winning website. The content will be all LSCU, as will be the look and feel, LSCU stated in a release. The new website will be designed by gira{ph}, which also produced NWCUA’s site.
“The NWCUA has created a unique experience for their website users,” said LSCU President/CEO Patrick La Pine. “Every time we talked about ways to engage our website visitors, we kept coming back to how the NWCUA website does it. It makes sense to partner with the NWCUA.”
The new LSCU website’s core areas will be governmental affairs, education, cooperative initiatives, and communications. Video and social media will have a greater presence on the new website, the league stated.
The NWCUA website has innovative and dynamic engagement tools that are unique to associations. Through the partnership, the LSCU website will have access to these tools, LSCU explained.
“This website configuration gives members a tour of resources available, helping them to quickly find business partners and information about advocacy, compliance, professional development, foundation and philanthropic support, and community impact,” said Lynn Heider, vice president, public relations and communications with NWCUA. “Once a great concept is created it makes sense for leagues to share innovative solutions, saving time, money, and other efficiencies. That action personifies what the cooperative credit union movement is all about.”
The site for LSCU affiliate LEVERAGE will be updated, as well.
